The Climate Arena Conference will take place on 18 – 19 October 2024 in Bologna, Italy.

This is a hands-on working conference, aimed at sharing knowledge and building connections across Europe in a friendly, collaborative environment.

The European Climate Arena conference is not just for journalists, but for academics, scientists and anyone working on investigating the climate, and uncovering issues affecting our environment. So the conference is an opportunity for journalists and experts from different disciplines to learn from each other, build trust and share expertise. It is also a space to produce new ideas for climate investigations and build collaborations across Europe – because we all face the climate crisis together.

The call for proposals for sessions opened on 5 March 2024. Submit your ideas for sessions by 12 April. You can submit multiple proposals. For more information on what and how to apply take a look at the call for proposals and the overview on What makes a great Climate Arena session.

Tickets for the conference will be announced in the coming months.

We hope to see you in Bologna!
